Will follow directions as is, no major mods (unusual for me).

Did not gauge.

Garment:
Due to construction of garment did not use larger needle for CO and since edging will be added later, the CO will be hidden. Did CO and all knitting for garment except edging on US 8.

When CO on WS, did “knitted” CO method but instead of “knit” maneuver did CO using “Purl” so it would be consistent. I don’t think it matters since these CO sections will be hidden when edging is done.

Edging - slight Mods:
Used 2 size down needles (US 6) for 2x2 ribbing.
Did 10 rounds of ribbing instead of the 5 rounds per pattern.
Instead of knitting in rows the left & right fronts & back of neck ribbing, I seamed the side seams first so I can pick up lower back edges as well. This let me do the edging in the round. Since the edging is wide enough that the left and right edges can meet I-cord ties will be added so shrug can be closed.
BO using JSSBO (Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy BO).

Sleeve edging:
Did 10 rounds of 2x2 ribbing instead of 5 rounds.
BO using JSSBO.

I-cord ties:
PU & knit 3 stitches at left/right front edging and did I-cord for 7”

Knitting done March 12.
All seaming done using mattress stitch on March 13.
Blocking done April 25 (finally got around to washing this).
Picture taken at night before blocking (bad lighting). Pics do not show tweedy look of yarn in whites, blues with a hint of pink and purple.
