I have followed the pattern for all butterflies.
The modifications that I made were;
Making the wing pieces in a single colour then adding details by stitching over the top of the finished wings, or adding an extra crocheted piece.
Edging with the first round of sc, adding another round with variations in stitch lengths to give a ‘bumpy’ look or adding little extra pieces to enhance corners of the wings - freestyle, using images from Google as my guide.

Eyes are glass beads.
