Lovely, easy pattern to follow.

Originally, for the wrap - I started with 49 foundation single crochet plus one standing dc instead of the 52 chains. I got a little way into it and realised that I would soon be running out of yarn so have adjusted the size down to (2dc, 7 shells, 2dc) with a starting 24fdsc plus one standing dc…….and it will now be a lovely scarf. :)

To straighten the end rows I worked;
2sc, then 1ch, 1sc into top of shell, 1ch, 1hdc into space between shells. Repeat from until you reach the end of the row, then finish with 2sc.
Work 1 row of dc, then 1 row of sc, finish off.
