Doll
Legs and Body
3.5mm hook - I change colours in the centre of the back.
Rnds 1 - 38: Black.
Rnds 39 - 44: Royal Blue.
Rnds 45 - 73: Starting with purple,work 3rnds of each colour of your rainbow.
I did purple, dark red, red, orange, yellow, green and blue and then started with purple again. When you get back around to the dark red, continue on with that until you reach the head….
….then change to your chosen skin colour for the head.
Arms
3.5mm hook - I change colours on the inside of each arm so that the row changes are less obvious.
Rnds 1 - 10 (Hand): in your chosen skin colour.
Rnds 11 - 15: Royal Blue.
Rnds 16 - 49: Starting with purple,work 3rnds of each colour of your rainbow.
I did the same as the body - purple, dark red, red, orange, yellow, green and blue and then started with purple again. When you get back around to the dark red, continue on with to the end of the arm - I finished the arms on this doll at Rnd 46.

Beanie
Using blue and 4.5mm hook, I made a ribbed band.
6ch, work rows of 5sc working in the back loops only until the head band sits comfortably around the head, crochet or sew the band together to form a circle.
Using purple, I made a chain that sits snugly around the head, sl st to form a circle.
I then worked four rounds of purple sc, then three rounds of the other colours in rainbow order - each colour-changing round I worked in the back loops only to add a bit of detail to the hat.
At the end of the third round of blue, I flattened the tube and sc’d across the top through both layers to close the top of the hat.
I made two small pompoms in blue and stitched them to each corner at the top of the hat.
Stitch the band to the outside of the first purple round.

Scarf;
Using dark red and 4.5mm hook,
4 foundation single crochet, ch1.
1 row hdc.
(1sc, 1dc) x 2, ch1 for each row until you reach desired length, then work,
1 row hdc, 1 row of sc, finish off. Add fringe if you like.

Flag/Sign
Letters;
1.5mm hook and white yarn.

Black back piece;
