Notes

Candy;
I followed the pattern for the main motif in the ‘Peppermint Throw’ until I was happy with the size - I used hdc instead of dc. Made two, then did a round still alternating the colours in the back loop only, then worked two rows and finished off. Sewed the two pieces together with circles of quilters polyester stuffing/wadding and two circles of white cardboard to keep it looking flat.

Rope;
Using a 2.5mm hook and rope coloured yarn, Make an I-cord to the length you need to hang the candy.

Om Nom

The body is 8ply acrylic yarn held double and worked with a 6.00mm hook. He is a basic ball shape - the mouth is a circle that I crocheted into the ball at about the half-way point…..no idea how to explain quite how I did it!
