Rnd 1: 3ch, 14dc in 3rd ch from hook, sl st into 1st sc to join.
Rnd 2: 1ch, sc in same st, (3ch, skip 1 st, 1sc)around, sl st to join. (7 chain spaces)
Rnd 3: Sl st into chain space, ch1, 1sc in same ch space, (5ch, 1sc in chain space) around, sl st into sc to join.

For the start of every round;
Slip stitch into the chain space (up to the center of the chains), ch 1, 1sc in chain space..then continue with the number of chains specified for the round that you are working on.
For the end of every round;
Slip stitch into your starting sc.

Rnd 4: 6ch, 1sc. (7 chain spaces)
Rnd 5: 7ch, 1sc. (7 chain spaces)
Rnd 6: 3ch, (1dc down into the chain space of Rnd 4, 3ch, 1sc into chain space, 3ch)…around. (14ch sp).
Rnd 7: 4ch, 1sc in ch space - around.
Rnd 8: 5ch, 1sc in ch space - around.
Rnd 9: 6ch, 1sc in ch space - around.
Rnds 10 - 23: 7ch, 1sc in ch space - around.
