l wanted the child wizard to be a little smaller than the teachers so l am using a 2.5mm hook.

l also preferred a completely separate scarf (not part of the body piece…) so l worked the pattern up to and including Row 26 - following the Black 7/White 8/Black 7 and any relevant increases & decreases from Row 23-26, then work Row 27 in BL0 in ‘Oatmeal’ and work in all ‘Oatmeal’ up to Row 35, then continue with the pattern as written from Row 36…where the hair begins - work Row 31 in BOTH Loops.

For Ron’s freckles, I split the yarn to make it thinner…for finer freckles. Ron’s eyes are beads.

Back Panel
Work in black up to and including Row 26, then work in all ‘Oatmeal’ up to Row 35…then follow the pattern from Row 36 where the hair starts.

Legs/Shoes
l used the legs from Mad-Eye Moody’s pattern.

Scarf
In maroon/burgundy, Chain 6.
1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in next 2ch, change to gold, ch3, turn.
Work 3dc in gold, change to maroon, ch3, turn.
Alternate rows of maroon and gold until your scarf is the length that you want it to be, finish off.
