One of my favourite patterns to work on.
Starting ch of about 260-ish.
Aiming for a pram/baby buggy sized blanket -
approx. 90cm (35”) W x 100cm (39”) L

Use your chosen border colour for your first and last rows, this way….you just finish off your border with the side edging in your border colour when you’re done!!!

Using ‘Biscuits and Jam’ Random Strip Generator to create the pattern from every suitable yarn in my stash. You just enter in your colours and ‘Refresh’ the page for different variations of colour choices - there is even an option to chose colours according to the amounts (weight) of yarn that you have to use…it’s a really cool tool! I will be working 1 row of each colour.

I have gone through my stash and made up a colour chart, roughly translating the computer generated stripes….it does not match perfectly and I added a colour here and there as I went along.

Attempting to straighten the end row (because I used different colours for my first and last rows);
Starting with a standing tr, tr in next ch sp, (1dc, 1ch, 1hdc) in next ch sp, (sc, 1ch,sc) in point ch sp,
** (1hdc,1ch,1dc) in next ch sp, 2tr tog, (1dc, 1ch, 1hdc), (1sc, 1ch, 1sc) in point ch sp ** .

Repeat from…

** to ** until you reach the last point ch sp, then finish your row with (1hdc, 1ch, 1dc) in ch sp, 1tr in next ch sp, 1tr in starting ch from previous row.
