Standard WeeBee.

Hair
I made the hair cap and added a ponytail by making a chain, then work 1 sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 2sc in next 2sts, 2hdc in the next 3sts, then 2dc in ea st to the end…..DO NOT CUT YARN……start the next chain and repeat until you have the desired amount of hair for your ponytail - gather them all together and stitch through the group of curls, then sew to head.

Evening Gown
Fairy dress in a dark red with a few rows added and an 8hdc shell bottom round. I finished the neckline with a round of reverse sc. with matching Mary Janes.

Mary Janes shoes from ‘Standard Size Weebee Doll - Mix & Match Clothing’ to match the evening gown.

The clothes in her wardrobe are a mix and match of various WeeBee patterns.

Canteen Bag
(The round handbag!)

I used a 3.5mm hook and 8ply yarn in a tan colour.
US crochet terms.
Rnd 1: Work 2ch, then 7hdc in a magic ring, sl st to join, ch 2. (7hdc)
Rnd 2: 2hdc in ea st around, sl st to join, ch2. (14hdc)
Rnd 3: (1hdc, inc) around, sl st to join, ch2. (21hdc)
Rnd 4: (1hdc in next 2sts, inc) around, sl st to join, ch1. (28hdc)
Rnd 5: working in the back loops only …work 1sc in ea st around. (28sc)
Rnd 6: working in both loops again…1sc in ea st around, sl st to join, ch2.(28sc)
Rnd 7: working in the back loops only …1hdc in ea st around. (28hdc)
Rnd 8: working in both loops again…(1hdc in next 2sts, dec) around, sl st to join, ch2. (21hdc)
Rnd 9: (1hdc, dec) around, sl st to join, ch 2.(14hdc)

Lightly stuff - don’t panic if the bag bulges out slightly at this point….we’ll fix that later but try not to over-stuff.

Rnd 9: dec around. (7hdc)
Finish off leaving a tail long enough to close the hole by gathering the remaining stitches together. Poke your needle through the centre of the bag to the front side and work a few stitches from front to back to make the bag a flatter disc shape - being careful to not pull in too far, finish off.

For the strap, I worked a length of ‘Basic Crochet Cord’ (by Planet June…YouTube tutorial) - approx. 16cm (just over 6”);

Attach to either side of the bag.

Optional closing strap - I made 10ch and worked 1hdc in ea st, finish off then stitch one end to the top of your bag. I added a loop of thread to the centre front of the bag for the strap to sit through.
Alternatively you could add a small button or stitch a square to look like a buckle over the strap.

To avoid increase lines on the bottom of the head,
I ‘split’ or stagger the increases like this;
Up to Rnd 34: As per pattern.
Rnd 35: 2sc, inc, * (4sc, inc) * repeat from * to * to last 2sts - finish the round with 2sc.
Rnd 36: As per pattern.
Rnd 37: 3sc, inc, * (6sc, inc) * repeat from * to * to last 3sts - finish the round with 3sc.
Rnd 38: As per pattern.
Rnd 39: 4sc, inc, * (8sc, inc) * repeat from * to * to last 4sts - finish the round with 4sc.
Rnd 40 and beyond: As per pattern.
So - the pattern hasn’t been altered at all!
You’ve simply moved the increases on all of the ‘even’ rounds and all ‘odd’ rounds remain the same
