Here is the basic tea cosy pattern that I used;
http://whydidntanyonetellme.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/shari...
I just made the very basic tea cosy in blue - using 8ply acrylic and embellished from there! I made some free-form pieces in dark green to make the grass and stitched them on.

The washing line posts are made from an I-cord;
http://www.planetjune.com/blog/how-to-crochet-an-i-cord/ in 8ply acrylic.
The washing line is a simple chain of metallic thread.
The washing itself I made with embroidery floss and a 0.75mm hook and just winged it and made ‘clothes shapes’! They are ‘pegged’ onto the line with a stitch of tan - coloured embroidery floss. Any simple, tiny flower pattern will do for flowers!
The sun I based on this pattern;
http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/bauble-decoration.html but just added more points around the outer edge. :)
