Notes

This project turned out to become my first sweater design. Knitpicks has published the pattern in their 2013 collection ”Reclaimed”. It has small differences from this project.

Sweater has about 6 inches of negative ease. Any looser than that and it will not accent the waist as nicely.

I kept thinking of honeycombs when I saw this yarn, but I couldn’t decide which pattern I liked best, so I decided to throw a bunch of textures together and make my own pattern. It took me much knitting and much ripping out before I got combinations and proportions and the fit that I was happy with. But all the hard work was worth it, as I’m thrilled with the result.
