This is a fabulous pattern and fabulous yarn. It’s made a lovely rustic cardigan that can be dressed up or down.

Pattern Notes

Debbie’s notes on using Voluptuous say to go up a needle size and a pattern size. But as I knit loosely I’m going to stick with the 3.75mm needles.

Freestyling this one a bit on the pattern size. The 38, 40 and 42 all start with the same number of cast on stitches and only differ once you start to mark out the stitches for back, fronts and sleeves. So I’ll get the colourwork done before deciding what size to plump for.

I ended up choosing the numbers for the 42, which has come out lovely.
