Got some gorgeous vintage brass and mother of pearl buttons on eBay, which are a great finishing touch.

Project Notes

Based on the sizing guide here I measured my high bust at 38”, so made the 36” size to get 2” negative ease at high bust, and 4” at the fullest part.

I dropped to 5mm needles to get the stated tension of 16 stitches to 4”.

Couldn’t get the hang of the one-row buttonholes, so did a ‘normal’ buttonhole, casting on the extra stitches on the return row.
