Use dpn size 3

Cast on 41 stitches. Knit together first and last stitches to join. (Both left and right hands are the same)

Use this pattern for the whole piece:

Row A: k1, p2, k1, p1 - repeat to end
Row B: k4, p1 - repeat to end

Rows 1-24: start with color A and work in pattern
Row 25-26: use color B
Ros 27-28: use color A - (start of thumb gusset and add stitches on each side of gusset every other row)
Rows 29-30: use color B
Rows 31-32: use color A
Rows 33-34: use color B

Row 35-36: use color A
Rows 37: use color B for rest of piece. Row 37 is last increase row
Rows 38-46: maintain pattern over rows
Row 47: Put thumb stitches on yarn (first 12 stitches on first needle) cast on 2 st on first needle and then maintain pattern for rest of row
Rows 48-60: First two added stitches should be worked as purl for remainder of piece. maintain pattern over rows
Row 61 - bind off

Add thumb:
Row1: Put thumb stitches on 3 needles and start working in pattern. Pick up 4 stitches across edge to complete row.

Row 2-9: work in pattern. Should have two purl stitches on inside “seam” that line up with st on hand section.

Row 10: bind off.

Weave in all loose ends. Use same pattern for second fingerless glove.
