All k sts in rib are knit in back of stitch.

Work in rib pattern for 32 rows.

Switch to size 8 needles, knit into the front and back of each stitch to double number of stitches.

Knit for 9 more rows.

In the 11th row, knit first 7 rows on waste yarn, put stitches on left hand needle and knit again with project yarn.

Knit 9 more rows for a total of 20 with size 8 needles.

Switch to size 4 needles and k 2 together for whole row. Continue in rib pattern for 5 more rows. Bind off with 2 stitch picot bindoff.

Place total of 14 st on two needles with size 4 needles. Knit in rib pattern for 6 rows picking up a stitch at each edge. Bind off with 2 st picot bind off.
