Cast on 49 st - ktog first and last st for 48st total (8 st in 6 sections)

Row 1: k all
Row 2: p all

Decrease 6 st (one at the beginning of each section) every other row in the k row.

This is my solution using the scraps of worsted weight yarn to create a patchwork throw.
