CO 36 sts, join in round 1.

Row 1 - 10: k1, p1 (color A)

Brioche Rows

Row A: brioche (rs) k row (color A)
Row B: brioche (rs) p row (color B)

Repeat these two rows 18 times.

Thumb hole

In row A, bind-off first 7 stitches (consecutive stitches including those you would normally bark), create 7 new stitches in cable CO. Pick up the first bound off stitch to anchor your new stitches and k2tog, knit over rest of new stitches in k1, p1, then continue on in row w/ brioche knitting.

In row B, pick up a stitch to fill the hole at tbe beginning if the row that would form otherwise. continue in row B brioche.

Row A: brioche (rs) k row (color A)
Row B: brioche (rs) p row (color B)

Repeat these two rows 8 times.

Knit 6 rows of k1, p1 rib.

Bind off with italian bind off technique.

Finished gloves will actually be turned inside out to minimize thumb hole stitching.
