I like how this turned out. In retrospect, I probably shouldn’t have used a self-striping yarn with garter stitch. I had to make a decision not to worry about where the color changes fell. It was also rather annoying to find two knots in the yarn, basically tying two colors together. I found the frog closure confusing but looking at the pictures on the pattern page helped.

The yarn for the border is Knit Picks Shimmer, which I dyed turquoise. It’s a fingering weight and I like how delicate it looks with the sport weight yarn of the sweater.
