When getting ready to do just the 90 back sts, I make sure that my last row before starting working the back 90 sts is WS row.

Then I make sure I end the 90 sts on a WS row and break the yarn. I then put all the sts back on my needle and begin at the neckline on a RS row, knit down the front, pick up the ten sts, knit across the bottom, pick up the other ten sts, and knit up the other side of the front.
