Notes

2/1/14 I’ve just completed my Richmond scarf and I’m thrilled with the results. My biggest revelation; don’t blindly count rows; measure. I was way too long, and had to frog several inches to get to the 54” length.
This was my first time using a self-striping yarn and I’m thrilled with the results! While I don’t really recommend this Nordly yarn for the problems I noted earlier about frogging, the look is lovely.

12/29/13 I had a bit of trouble following the written directions at first, but once I studied the diagram it was a piece of cake!
I’m about 1/3 done and loving the look of the yarn and the pattern. However, as you can see in the 2nd and 3rd pics, the yarn is unreliable in terms of the thickness. It’s practically a roving yarn and I was quite annoyed when I encountered this amount if thickness. I’m going to just consider it an idiosyncrasy of the yarn in the project, but for a $15.99 skein of yarn I expect better.
