I’m using dk yarn so have adapted the pattern slightly as it uses a thicker yarn; starting with black and 3ch, I worked two dc in 1st ch then increased each end for 5 more rows, switched to brown and increased for 5 more rows. Switching to yellow I worked straight for 150 rows, including some evenly spaced bpdc and fpdc (as others did) to create a pencil shape (this used the whole 100g). Joined grey, inc each end on the first row, worked 4 rows working in back loops (ws) and front loop (rs). Changed to pink and worked in bl on first row then straight for 3 more rows and dec each end on last row.
