Here’s the sequel to the original Alpaca Love Rug, the Suri Hearts Wow Rug! “Wow” was the first comment by the judge at this year’s Suri Network Symposium, where the rug was displayed this past weekend! About 56” wide, this rug was handcrafted with a Lily Chin’s two color double-ended Tunisian in-the-round technique that makes the front and back sides negative images of each other. The rug is comprised of 99% undyed suri alpaca fiber home grown at B I Bar Ranch and mill spun around a cotton core by The Fleece Factory of the Rockies with a few yards of matching black and cream huacaya core spun yarn to finish off the border. The deep black fiber of the B I Bar alpacas really makes the cream hearts pop in the sturdy, luxurious piece of floor art!
