Notes

My 10th shawl in 2010.

This name came from the union of the yarn colorway and beauty of design:)Although the legend about Maia I like too:) I used czech seed beads size 6/0 in “Peridot mix” colors.

The subject of the painting by famous Russian artist Viktor Vasnetsov is a visit of Vasilisa-Beautiful to her father-in-law Tsar (from Russian fairy-tale “The Frog-Princess”)

A lot of thanks to my ravelry friend Claudia- Modiste1979, who sent me some Frosch-Wollmeise to finish my shawl! (That’s why I could do 4 repeats of chart H)
And thanks again to Tascha, who sold me this beautiful skein of yarn!

My Frosch-Princess Shawl is given as a present to the wife of my husband’s cousin. She had two operations last year and got two new knies… so… she can’t move yet so much, and they live in a big cold house, it means, that a shawl is a right thing for her :)
