Mods :
Body

• Worked flat
• So I cast on 135 sts (Size 42 + 2 more stitches for the edge) and knit 6 k1p1 rds.
• Added a colorwork band
• Knitted the body a few inches longer than the pattern says
• Added some short rows in the back.
• Added some shapping : I decreased 12sts, to get the stitch number from size 38 for the yoke.

Sleeve

• Co 36sts (6 more than for the largest size) and knit 6 k1p1 rds.
• Added a colorwork band at 2 rds from the edge, and started increases 1 rd latter.
• Increased every 12th rnd, 4 times, and knit 45 more rounds after last decrease.

Sleeves are a little bit too long, but its ok.
Yoke is a little bit tight. I rather decreased only 6 sts to get size 40.
Button band is awful --’

But I like this cardi a lot. Yarn is soft and so warm. I’ll be wearing it a lot this winter.

Started on October 19th, size 40 with 6mm needles with a not-checked-gauge (which was wrong, surprise !).
It was too tight.

Frogged on October 27th (While body, one sleeve and the begining of the second were already knitted), restarted with 7mm needles and largest size.

Frogged the sleeve on November 1st (too tight, while body is a bit too wide), and decided to make some mods.
