Using yarn that was gifted to me by a friend several years ago, just before I moved to NH.

Got all the way from toe through heel, ready to start the leg, then tried it on - it fit, and I generally like my socks snug, but this was too snug. Starting over, adding more stitches on top of foot only, then matching that stitch count on back of leg after heel is finished.
