Notes

When I completed my Bobobuffstrom, my friend Michele not-so-subtlely “hinted” that she would like one too.

I used 7887 as the “right side” dominant color, and 7892 as the “wrong side” dominant color.

Modifications I made to the Ostrom pattern to turn this into a long skinny cowl:
Used a size 8 (5mm) 24” circular
Cast on 74 stitches and joined in the round.
Using the free Ostrom pattern from Berroco for the stitch pattern only, work the cast-on and round 1 with color “A” (for me that was #7887). Work round 2 with color “B” (#7892). Switch colors every round - so you are always using color A for round 1 and color B for round 2. Work to desired length and bind off in purl using color A.

Same tips as from my Bobobuffstrom:
Always pick up the new color from underneath the old so you don’t get a hole.
Be sure to pull the slack out of color A just before beginning every round 1 except for the very first after cast-on - the yarnover at the end of the previous round 1 leaves a lot of slack, and if you don’t pull it nice and tight you’ll end up with a really loose ladder. (You don’t need to do this trick with color B since there’s no yarnover at the end of round 2.)
