Sport, color B: speckled light
(1): 30; 1-2 g left.
Used total: 29 g, 80.7 m.

Needles:

• 3.0 mm Addi 120 cm for brim (working as magic loop)
• 3.25 mm Lykke interchangeables 50 cm for larger needle
• For the top, beginning with the decreases, I used a 3.0 mm Prym Ergonomics 80 cm (working as magic loop)

The pattern:
I found the pattern easy to follow, love the double brim and the squishy texture. Fun with the color change for the “ports”.

Gauge unwashed:
18 sts and 28 brioche rows on smaller needles (3.0 mm) = 10 cm
Gauge washed:
18 sts and 28 rows on smaller needles = 10 cm

Some notes about gauge:

• After washing, it looked that the hat did expand. But when measuring the gauge after the hat was dry, it did shrink back to the unwashed gauge.
• My stitch gauge is 0.5 stitches looser and my row gauge 2 sts tighter than the original pattern.
• I used fingering and sport yarn for this project.
