Notes

My mods:

  • Knit 13 repeats of the edging instead of 15 for a less wide piece.
  • Used a size 8 to pick up 208 stitches; R1= K107 then wrap/turn; also did a k4 after k2tog/skp.
  • Continued doing three more repeats of the short rows making the proper modifications to keep the “middle” lined up.
  • Added another section of the skp, yo to bring part of the lace border up to the top of the piece.
  • Knit eight (?) more rows in garter then did an i-cord cast off on the WS for a smooth edge.
  • Added two rows of crochet to finish off the raw edges, including two button loops to use with two KnitPicks (harmony) buttons that compliment the colors in this yarn nicely.

Speaking of yarn … I just love Bearfoot! Can’t wait to work with it again.

Didn’t weigh my remaining yarn but probably ended up with five yards leftover.
