Notes

I absolutely love this pattern … and I totally adore this yarn!

Of course, I made a few minor modifications to the pattern. I’m really bad at following directions! Because I used a fingering weight, I needed to add a few repeats here and there. And because I’m a prissy girl who loves flounce, I did an increase row toward the end - increasing my stitch count to 504. That made for a REALLY long and drawn out bind off process - especially since I did the Jeny stretchy - but it’s so worth it! I also finished off the straight edge with crochet in order to add stability for blocking and uniformity to that side of the piece. All in all, it’s a fabulous piece that I will knit again. Hopefully I’ll get it blocked and measured soon. Can’t wait to wear it.

Cheez-n-crackers! I’ve got a mistake that’s screaming at me. Didn’t see the “hole” until I blocked it. This calls for a tapestry needle and a bit of creative thinking.
