Love the pattern, a fun knit! (used all 13 skeins) Finished just in time for the Alaska knitting cruise.

09/01/11 Finally! Knit the cowl neck & finished final blocking. Fits well, tho’ I wish I’d remembered that I would be wearing a tee under it.

05/26/11 Finished seaming. Thought it might be easier to do the 3-needle bindoff on the sides first, then stitch up the sleeves, because then I could adjust as needed. This worked well. I was able to do the seaming with the sweater yarn (to my surprise).

Next up: pick up the neck stitches, complete the cowl neck, then try-on again to check body length.

04/19/11 Finished body. Next I want to block it before seaming.

When picking up stitches along center panels that I’d slip-stitched selvaged, I used this method: pick up 1st & 2nd sts normally, then pick up 3rd st through back leg of 2nd st. I wouldn’t do that for a real seam, but in this situation it worked beautifully!

03/08/11 Decided my front center panel needs to be 7” wide to align properly with my, ahem, front.

So I cast on 35 sts for this section, plan to do same for back center panel, otherwise will follow 36” bust directions to get 38” FO.

Also decided to slip 1st stitch of each row to make picking up stitches easier when I get to that point. RS slip 1st knitwise, WS slip 1st purlwise.
