I’m hoping for more of a totebag size..Something my mom can bring her lunch and datebook to work in maybe?

Cast on 51 sts for the bottom. Knit 21 rows. Picked up 12 sts on either side, for a total of 126 sts.

17 rows of rectangles total (not 17 repeats of the pattern, 8.5 repeats of the pattern), then 4 rows of black, one purl row, one knit row, bind off purlwise.

the straps are 5sts i-cords that are 18in long. Pre felting the bag is 18” long, 13” across. I plan on sewing the straps on once everything is felted..

After felting it is 14” long and 12” across. It fits a 3 ring binder comfortably! I’m nervous the straps will make it get all saggy and weird, but other than that I FREAKING LOVE THIS THING. I want to make one for myself, super badly. I tried to line it and got frustrated and gave up.

I had to use scraps from a leftover skein of Lamb’s Pride to finish the straps, I realize I could have prevented this by using a section of black I cut out of the second skein of Noro, but I had the scraps so I figured why not. I will definitely make this again.
