For the Breakthrough Crochet group dishcloth CAL.

These are 5-1/2 x 4”.

My mods:

• chained initial foundation chain and first row of sc
• sc around front and back of first row
• after this, I chained 1 and turned. From here for the next three rows, I worked blo in the round, spiraling up instead of joining and chaining 1 to start each new row.
• for the middle section, I did sc in 1, dc in the next for all, but I didn’t do it in blo. The first row was done in blo to continue the pattern. I like the look of using both loops. I continued this in the round.
• repeated the rows as above for the blo around.
• for the last (closing) row, I sc’d together only the inner two, rather than all four.
