Notes

Since I’ve had so many requests on how to switch the bobble colors:

This is how you make the bobbles a different color: When you’re making the last stitch before starting the bobble, finish up making it until the very last time you pull the yarn through. Instead, pull the NEW color through to finish up the stitch (the stitch will still end with the original color, but the new color will be ready). Then start the bobble with the new color.

When it’s time to switch back to the original color, finish up the bobble and make a ch-1 at the top of the bobble the same way as above, which moves the original color back to the hook.

I carried the contrasting color along the back in sections, so there was a lot of weaving in at the end. Each group (left, right, top, bottom) is carried across and then finished off at the end of the second bobble. The top bobbles are finished off by themselves and the yarn is not carried over.

Hope this helps with those of you trying to figure it out!

Added a bobble border and an extra round of shells to make 12”
