This was my first time using the bullion stitch. I ended up using the straw method which worked great for me.

The pattern is perfectly written, but the method is a little difficult. Once you get better with the bullion stitch, it goes easy and quickly.

All in all, this took me about 10 hours, including learning the time it took to learn the bullion stitch.
