This is a very fast cute project. Using Khaki for the nose, feet and ears, and gray for the rest. The eyes of course are made from white and black yarn.

The cool Bamboo Fiber yarn I am using has the same yardage and gauge as the suggested Schachenmayr Catania!

I actually had a hard time to keep the edges straight. I have been crocheting in the round only for all the other critters I made.
Counting stiches and remembering to crochet into the 1 chain at the end helped finally, after frogging the body once.

For the tail I started with 7 slipstitches, then 10 sc, 10 hdc and the rest dc.

For the ears I did a slipstitch at the end of the pink (brown) yarn, then started the last row with the gray yarn with one chain stitch.

Pulled the tails through the fingers after knotting them together tightly.
Ended the eye and ear tails through one hole at the chin, did a knot and pushed them into the head.
Left some tiny threads of black yarn hanging out over the eyes, to make eyelashes.
