This is my first lace project ever.
I started the first piece 4 times over, then finally got it right. And then I got going!
Finished Part A and B at day 1.
Finished Part C at day 2.
Finished Part D at day 3,
but I wonder how to enlarge the shawl, because I’m using Needles US size 6…
13.09. Found solution to problem of enlarging. Knitting on - Had to frog 4 rows after forgetting to increase :(
14.09. - Started 4th skein. It’s now 20 rows over standard, but still doesn’t seem long enough in the back.
17.09. - Had to buy another skein. Added 2 more rows and then started the border.
The border is killing me! taking AGES to make.
24.09 - Got the border halfway finished. Time to celebrate… With half a glass of orange juice :)
04.10 - Finally got the courage to tackle the second half of the border. Took me ages, but now it’s done. Blocking it tonight
04.10 - 10pm - Finally finished the blocking. Now I need some sleep. Yawn.
I found the solution for the question “How to enlarge the Stacy Shawl”:
Start again from part B after finishing Part D.
Perfect match for the pattern.
I’m using my fabulous Addi-Click metal needles, now using the 80cm and 40cm cable combined.
One last note: Don’t use cheap yarn for it. And don’t use Microfiber!!! Make it a masterpiece.

One very last note.
Don’t waste your energy on this with cheap yarn!!
The shawl looks gorgeous as long as it isn’t worn, and then shrivels to a strange rag :( I feel tempted to start again using some high quality lace yarn, as the pattern is beautiful.
