Since I knit with average gauge, I used 1 needle size smaller as I am 20 yds shy of the stated yardage needed.

At The Beginning, my ball of yarn weighed 116 grams.

And so, the Neon Koi got ripped out May 2. I didn’t have faith in the way it would look. Using the same needle sizes and making the large with this aplaca laceweight instead of the variegated fingering weight (seen in the bottom picture)

May 5. Co again. Used a 6, moved to a 4 on the first row of the chart.

May 14. Feeling silly, as I can’t really see the lace developing yet in this colorway either. I really think I’m going to be happier in the end with this one tho!!

Total weight: 54 grams
Preblock: 35” wingspan, 16” deep
