Because I didn’t have enough contrasting colour in my stash, I decided to knit this in a monochrome. Since we do not have a yarn store in town, I can’t nip down to squish and buy gorgeous yarn. Unfortunate to say the least!

I had decided to knit the lace border in the bit of navy blue that I had, but it didn’t match well.

What a well written pattern! ☺ And that is such a plus! I’ve bought patterns from other designers that I will likely never knit because they are so poorly written. Who needs the slog.

This shawl has been fun to knit. Many thanks to the designer, Carolyn for a great shawl. I know I’ll have fun wearing it.
