Driving through Peace River, Alberta country several years ago, we came upon a town named Midnight Twilight. The name made me smile. Of course, that far north it doesn’t really get dark in the high peak of summer and when the light finally fades dawn is about to break, so I decided to name the shawl after that area.
Wishing I had heavier yarn in my stash for this shawl, but I know I will like it anyway.
With several projects on the go, I wanted a “comfort knit”on the needles and Shaelyn fits that description.

Jan 28th blocking. Decided to take out the last 10 rows and redo, although it didn’t make a big difference. If I decide to make another Shaelyn, I would finished last ten rows with a half size larger needle for more pronounced points.
