Notes

I decided to call this scarf Sailing because the yarn was dyed especially for the re-launch of the Bluenose II. Thanks to my sister for buying it for me! http://thechronicleherald.ca/novascotia/141529-back-in-he....

Apparently the dye lot incorporates every colour on the Bluenose. She still needs spars, and they are doing some testing, but I think she will soon be ready to set sail.

Aug 16th I forgot to increase so had to rip out the last garter stitch section. After I was halfway through with the proper amount of stitches, I took it out again because the edging stitches didn’t look right. Obviously, I was knitting too close to the needle tip.

August 17. Sailing is soaking in the sink, and will soon be ready to block.
I think this scarf will look great with jeans!
