This “Louise” will be a bit of an impro project (as most of my projects are) and it mainly serves as inspiration for the colour combination. I will reverse the grey and the turquoise though because I bought the Merino yarn on offer. Instead of using the yellow yarn I will use yellow buttons - at least that’s the plan.

I don’t actually have the “Louise” pattern - I’m a stingy knitter - and it will be a bit of experimenting, let’s hope my eye measurement skills are up to scratch.

Update
I finished the cardigan in record time and I really like wearing it. Even if it feels nice I will not become a great friend of Merino yarn though, it’s just too slippery to knit with! I thought I’d give it another try but I really prefer wool yarn with a bit more texture. You can also see in the close up that my knit stitch is a bit wonky, I think it’s because I don’t purl very evenly. With the Lett Lópi it doesn’t show that much but the Merino doesn’t have any mercy.

I’m also getting better with adjusting my button bands and attaching the buttons, I think this is the first time I ever managed to place them more or less evenly. Might also be because I don’t have a yoke or pattern to match up with usually complicates the process.

Overall a very pleasant and quick project with a wearable cardigan that will hopefully last me a while.
