Notes

My first yoke sweater in adult size. I’m going to make it with only two colors.
Sleeves: the first time I’m using tubular co
using the tubular co explained by Eunny on knitting daily, so I knitted a row and increased on ws row.
I love the result of tubular co it will be my new favorite elastic cast on. 10 rounds after the final increase round.
Body: the st st part went fairly quickly, a pleasurable reading/knitting session.
For the yoke I used only two colors. The gold was the background color, and the purple the dominant color.

The yarn Dulcimer doigts de fée DK match perfectly madelinetosh DK, and the two colors are just wonderful.

Usually, I’m not very found of stranded knitting. My yarns tangle like hell, a big mess, and I usually at the end I frog the whole thing. I carry both yarns with the same hand, maybe it explains the issue. But I cannot help myself, it is the way I like it. But this time I found the right tool. This thingy helped me to stay sane, and enjoy the process. This is a yarn guide by Clover. I would like to kiss on both cheeks the genius who created this! I do love stranded knitting now, thank you!

With this tool, my knitting is so even, so pretty on both sides. Oh little magic blue thing, you’re one of my favorite tools, you changed my knitting life, and I’ll treasure you for the rest of my life. I’ll surely buy some baby brothers, but you’ll stay my first one. You’re my stranded knitting super hero! Dear friends, have you some wonderful tool too?

The result is so gorgeous, and I’m so happy with the colors’ choice. I’m in love with Dulcimer yarns. I’ll make a lot of things with it. The best thing about this, I know the lovely lady who dies this, and well she’s wonderful!

Considering the finished piece, I love it. It might be one of my favorite knits. The pattern is so well written, clear and easy to follow. Technical and simple to execute. But I’m not so happy with the fit. I’m sure there is nothing to do with the pattern. I’m just, well, I’m quite petite. So I feel the yoke has a bit too much height for my stature. The body-sleeve joining part is a bit too low. Maybe I’m not a circular yoke chick! I should investigate on sweater’s shape.
