I really love Bloomsbury, so I knitted the second one.
This time I used DROPS Cotton Merino so that I can wear the sweater from autumn to spring.
Using the JPN 6 (3.9mm) needles, I knitted size L to get size S.
(I followed the instruction in the DROPS Cotton Merino yarn description page, which says that the specified tension or a tighter - rather than looser - tension should be used)
I sometimes tried on the sweater in progress to check and adjust the length.
I’m quite happy with the result. It really fits my body! I’m more satisfied with this second one than the first one.
I rinsed the finished sweater and was so upset to find that it had stretched so much, with sleeves almost 10cm longer. But, when completely dry (laid flat), it returned to the original length.
The first three photos reflect the actual yarn color better than the rest, though I prefer the darker red in the latter photos (but, to my sorrow, DROPS Cotton Merino has no other red colors)

Body decrease/increase round: Decreased every 9th round instead of every 6th, knitted 13 rounds straight instead of 10, and increased every 6th round instead of every 4th
-
Sleeve decreases: 6 times instead of 5 (for size L)

For K2P2 ribbing, I arranged knit and purl stitches so that consecutive knit (or purl) stitches are allocated to the center 2 stitches of the lace pattern.
