I discovered these 13 blocks (9 in Marine, a Navy, and 4 in Denim Blue) hiding in the closet while looking for a project to unravel for the Ravellenic Games.

I think that I made these in 2008, but 2007 or 2009 are also possible. I had many skeins of Bernat Lana in three colors bought way back when at a Smiley’s Manhattan yarn sale, and I was planning to make myself an afghan. But then I realized that even all the yarn I had was probably not enough for the size I wanted to make and I ended up selling the unused skeins.

These will be part of a felted bedspread I’m working on now using wool and alpaca scraps.

Updated 12/24: I decided to donate this to Afghan Squares for Pine Ridge Reservation since they accept wools and I’m not sure when I would finish this blanket!
