I’m using the Amsterdam script from the Alphabet Generator at Stitch Point. My idea is that one side will say Geaux Saints in black with gold letters for the Saints, and the other side will say I am a Texan in navy, red, and white, for the Texans.

Updated 11/22: I finished the Geaux Saints! side (I think), and it clearly needs blocking but it’s looking good. I decided I’m going to finish both sides first before I start blocking because I might need to add a few rows on the edges.

As for the yarn, the numbers aren’t adding up. I have 47 g of the gold left (which suggests I used 53 g) and 34 g of the black left (which suggests I used 51 g), but the whole piece only weights 24 g. Clearly, I have to go back and weigh everything again - maybe I hit tare?

Update 12/24: Turns out my skeins are smaller than the ones in the Rav database (a different label) so that explains the issue above with the yarn weights.
