This is the ninth in a series of squares using stash acrylic yarns that I’m making for Crochetlist’s April 2012 charity challenge. These 6 inch squares will go to Binky Patrol in Arizona.

I used my trusty Boye hook.

I actually started and finished this up during a nightmarish subway ride where reroutings and delays led to my commute taking twice as long as usual. Sigh. But at least something cute came out of it!

I followed the pattern for Rounds 1-3. Since I needed the square to be 6”, I skipped Round 4 and then modified Round 5 slightly so the square would be the right size.

This block used approximately 26 yards of yarn.
