I received a review copy of 75 Floral Blocks to Crochet from St. Martin’s Press. I’m loving it so far! This is the second square I made from the book.

I used stash yarn and intend this to go to charity eventually. To get the block at 12” (since it was larger than 6” when I finished the pattern), I added a round in sc and then began working in the traditional granny square motif.

The block in the book is intended as one color, but I ran out of the first yarn partway through the block.

This block used about 120 yards.
