Notes

I started these roses using the “Traditional Rose” pattern (p. 30) from Textured Crochet by Helen Jordan. Originally, these roses were part of my Year of Projects exploration of Irish crochet, but I decided I will transform these into some kind of accessory for me. (I added two rounds to the pattern for the second single rose pictured to make it larger.)

I received the yarn from Happymousefairy in the Yarn Swap/Project Adventure I hosted through the Blog Hub last May. It is very yummy!

Update 2/5/12: I’m trying to decide what buttons to use to finish this choker.

Update 2/7/12: Yay, I finished this yesterday. I decided to go with matching rather than contrasting buttons.
