I’m trying out potential motif patterns for a bedspread for my mom. I used stash yarn and made it 6” so I can eventually donate it to charity.

To keep the square the right size, I converted round 8 so it used sc instead of dc, and omitted rounds 9-11.

Updated 8/20/12: I’m frogging this guy. It’s a bit too wobbly and I’m not trying to make thing hard for the assemblers of charity blocks.
