Another granny square blanket in fruit salad colours.

I love pink and orange together and I have added some greens and white to keep them company.

I don’t know who this blanket is for yet. One for the blanket gift stash.

Stats:

10 x 13 6 round granny squares.
5 colours in each square with the last two rounds being the same colour.

I try to not repeat the centre and last round colours in a row, horizontally or vertically.

To aid this I use my little granny square tool.

I make a starter square in each colour and join them with 10 chain stitches in between each square.

Then I can gather all of the colours I’ve used in a row and choose from the remaining squares for my next granny. It’s a real time saver. I’ve put a photo in, so you can see what I mean.
